Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: 2 November 2026

You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. This page explains how. It applies to everyone: developers, subscribers, people who contacted us or reported an issue, and people who sent us a message through WhatsApp or email. a11y.tr does not use Facebook Login and does not store Facebook profile data.

How to request deletion

  1. Developers with an account: sign in to the management panel and use the account deletion option in your account settings. If you cannot sign in or prefer not to, use step 2.
  2. Everyone else, or if you prefer email: send an email to [email protected] with the subject Delete my data. Tell us what to delete and include the details we need to find it (see the table below). Please write from the email address that is linked to the data.
  3. We confirm it is you. We may reply to the email address involved with a short confirmation request. For WhatsApp messages, we match the phone number you give us to the messages we received from it. We do not send messages to you on WhatsApp for this.
  4. We delete the data and confirm by email, normally within 30 days of the request.

What to include in your request

What happens to your data

Messages sent through WhatsApp: WhatsApp messages are also stored by Meta under Meta's own terms. Deleting a message from your phone or from our systems does not delete Meta's copy. To manage data that Meta holds, use WhatsApp's own settings and privacy tools.

Other rights and questions

You can also ask to see, correct or export your data, or to object to processing. See the Privacy Policy for all your rights, and the Terms of Use for how the service works. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority; in Türkiye this is the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
